The little green leprechaun is a symbol that I'm confident many are familiar with especially those who follow college football; however, on my recent Mid-west road trip I visited the University of Notre Dame and felt as if I fell down the rabbit- hole and was transported to the gardens of Alice in Wonderland. This campus was so pristine and very VERY regal. I honestly felt like I was touring the grounds of the British palace, not a university.

While I didn’t get an official tour of the campus, I did get a chance to see the Basilica of the Sacred Heart (the campus church), Duncan Student Center, campus bookstore (which was the size of a Barnes and Nobles!!), admissions building, and perimeter of their football stadium. Based purely on my first impression, this campus was very majestic. As a Catholic institution the majority of students identify as Catholic or practice some form of Christianity, yet, students who do not identify with the religion are welcome to attend.

Here are some highlights about the University of Notre Dame
